Frequently asked questions
Will battery health show 100% after replacement?
Yes, on most iPhones from XR onwards. Older models (X and before) lack the calibration chip required for a fresh 100 per cent reading, but capacity is fully restored.
Will I get the 'Unknown Part' warning in Settings?
On iPhone 11 and newer, third-party batteries trigger an 'Unknown Part' notice in Settings. The phone works completely normally; the warning is informational. Genuine Apple service-pack batteries (we can source on request) avoid this.
How long will the new battery last?
Same as a new iPhone: about 500 full charge cycles to 80 per cent capacity. That's roughly 18 to 24 months of typical use.
Should I drain my phone before bringing it in?
Not necessary. We bench-discharge safely before disassembly. Just bring it in with whatever charge it has.
