Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Lynix World services, our website, the booking form and any related communication. By booking a repair with us, you agree to the points below. For most everyday questions, our repair FAQs and customer reviews are a faster read. Last updated May 2026.
1. Who we are
Lynix World is the trading entity behind Lynix World. Our registered address is SCO 1012, Second Floor, Cabin 207, Sector 22B, Chandigarh, Chandigarh UT 160022, India. GSTIN: 04BHAPD3122Q1ZN. 2. What we do
We carry out repair work on iPhones, MacBooks, iMacs, Android phones, laptops and printers. The full list of services and indicative pricing lives on our services page. Our coverage area is the Chandigarh tri-city (Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur) plus a handful of nearby towns listed on the locations page.
3. Booking and quotes
Booking is free. Website booking details are routed through WhatsApp pricing only, and we share a written quote on WhatsApp after free diagnostics. Quotes are valid for 48 hours from issue. Final price equals the quoted price unless we find a separate fault during repair, in which case we stop and ask you before going further. All prices are in ₹ and 18% GST is extra unless a written quote clearly says inclusive.
If you book through our website form, you confirm that the device, model and issue you describe match the device we receive at pickup. No booking-form details are sent by traditional email. We are not liable for misdescription — we will still try to help but pricing and turnaround may change.
4. Pickup, drop and walk-in
Doorstep pickup-and-drop is free for any repair above ₹2,000 across the tri-city. For smaller jobs there is a nominal ₹100 collection fee, waived if you proceed with the repair. Pickup windows are 10 AM to 8 PM, all 7 days of the week. We do not collect outside these hours.
Walk-in to our workshop is welcome any day of the week, no appointment needed. For motherboard-level and liquid-damage work we recommend dropping the device by 2 PM if you want same-day return.
5. Parts and warranty
We use genuine OEM, original or OEM-equivalent parts only. Where a part is non-original (for example a third-party display on an out-of-warranty iPhone) we tell you in writing before fitting. Our warranty page explains in detail what is and is not covered.
Default repair warranty: 3 months from the bill date, unless stated otherwise on the invoice. OEM and original products/parts carry 1-year warranty where the bill states that product grade and warranty period. Warranty is valid only with the original Lynix World bill or tax invoice. No bill means no warranty. Warranty does not cover subsequent physical damage, liquid damage, unauthorised tampering, or unrelated faults that develop on different components.
6. Payment
Payment is due on repair completion, before the device leaves our custody (or at drop-off if doorstep). We accept cash, UPI, debit/credit card and net-banking, in Indian rupees. 18% GST is charged extra on taxable repair, parts and product invoices unless your written quote says inclusive. We do not require any advance for standard repairs. For motherboard-level work above ₹15,000 we may ask for 25% advance against parts — this is refundable in full if the repair turns out unviable.
7. Refunds and cancellations
The short version: free diagnostics, no fix, no fee, refundable advance on motherboard work. The full policy lives on our refund and cancellation policy page — please read it before booking.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the repair invoice or ₹50,000, whichever is lower. We carry in-transit insurance up to ₹50,000 per device during pickup-and-drop. We do not back up data as part of standard repair — if data preservation is critical, tell us at booking and we will quote an extra ₹500 to ₹1,500 depending on device. Data recovery from a dead device is a separate service and quoted separately.
9. Unclaimed devices
If a repaired device is not collected within 60 days of repair completion despite repeated reminders, we reserve the right to dispose of it to recover repair costs. We will send three written WhatsApp reminders over those 60 days before any action is taken.
10. Acceptable use of our website
You agree not to: misuse the booking form (spam submissions, false enquiries), attempt to access non-public parts of our systems, scrape pricing data for resale, or reproduce our written content (city pages, FAQs, warranty text) without permission. We log IP and device fingerprints on the booking form to catch abuse — see our privacy policy.
11. Intellectual property
The Lynix World name, logo, written copy, photographs and the structure of this website are owned by us. You may share links freely. Republication of substantial text or images requires written permission — drop us an email if you want to quote something.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh. We always prefer to resolve issues directly first — please write to service@lynixworld.com with "Complaint:" in the subject and we will revert within one working day.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services or the law change. Material changes (refund policy, warranty length, pricing structure) will be flagged on the homepage banner for at least 14 days. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
