How fast do I need to get the MacBook to you after a spill?
As fast as possible, within 24 hours. The longer corrosion sits on the board, the more components die. Don't try to power it on, don't try to dry it with rice or a hair dryer. Just bring it in.
What's the success rate for liquid damage recovery?
Within 24 hours of a clean-water spill: 85 to 90 per cent. Within 48 hours: 70 per cent. Sugary or salty liquids drop those odds by 20 per cent. We tell you the realistic odds after we open it.
Can my data still be recovered if the board is dead?
On Intel MacBooks, often yes: we transplant the SSD or read the chip directly. On Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1+), the SSD is soldered and locked to the board. If the board is unrecoverable, the data is too.
How much will it cost? You said ₹4,500 to ₹25,000.
We charge ₹4,500 for the initial ultrasonic clean and diagnosis. After that we give you a written quote based on which board components need replacing. Most spills are repaired for ₹7,500 to ₹12,000. Full board replacement is the worst case.
